Tybee Island Wedding Ceremony Locations:

We perform our wedding ceremonies on any of Tybee Island’s beautiful public beaches. Whether you would like a sunrise ceremony on the north beach, a sunset wedding overlooking the back river and everything in between, we are able to choose the perfect wedding site for you. You may also choose to have your wedding in one of Tybee Island’s scenic parks or halls.

Here are just some of the wonderful locations on Tybee Island to hold your perfect wedding reception. Other locations are available to match your individual needs. Remember, too, that we know dozens of caterers in many different styles to cater your event. Just call for details!

Outdoor Inn
Tybee Island’s only licensed event location AND vacation rental.
Holding a wedding or reception at The Outdoor Inn is a unique and rewarding experience with the convenience of staying where your event will be held. The Inn sleeps 12 and there is plenty of parking. Great location for wedding ceremonies, receptions and any other event for up to 70.

Guard House
Recently this building underwent two years of renovation. Beautiful historic location for parties of 25-50. It has two rooms ~ one for setting up tables (included in rental) and dining, another for dancing and mingling. Has kitchen with amenities and a side picnic area for a low country boil. Alcohol can be provided by renters. Location available until 10 p.m.

 The American Legion
Hall is over 100 years old and boasts an excellent view of the lighthouse. Recently beautifully redecorated, the hall can hold over 150 people. You can have outside catering for your events. No outside alcohol is allowed in the Legion hall. Bartenders are provided with your rental fee.

Shrine Club
Located next to the Lighthouse and Museum, the Alee Temple hall has the best view of the ocean and Lighthouse on Tybee. You can have a band or other entertainment here. You can have outside catering for your events. Specific requirements must be followed regarding alcohol. Large hall with a kitchen.

Tybee Island Historic Lighthouse Grounds
Get married at the base of Tybee Island famouse lighthouse. For any size group, the grounds are available individually as a ceremony site and reception location. The lawn behind the grounds is ideal for a tented event. For smaller parties, (up to 4) you can even take the trek to the top for a wedding ceremony with a view that can’t be beat. River’s End Campground & R.V. Park
The Rivers End Campground offers full lodging and reception amenities. Just a few blocks to the beach, this is a unique and fun “all-in-one” location. Whether you’re camping in an RV or Pop-up or renting rustic cabins, The River’s End Campground is a perfect way to capture the casual and relaxed “vibe” of Tybee Island.

Tybee Island Restaurants
There are several wonderful restaurants around Tybee Island that will accommodate your group ~ from just the two of you to larger groups of 20, 30 and up to even 100! Restaurants are great for convenience and ease, as well as alternatives to the traditional reception

Cafe Loco
Cafe Loco epitomizes the laid-back atmosphere of Tybee Island. Nestled under the Lazaretto Creek Bridge with river and marina views from the large patio.

An American grill with Tropical Flavors located on the beach in the heart of Tybee Island. A perfect beach wedding location!

The Dolphin Reef (at the Ocean Plaza Resort)
The Dolphin Reef oceanfront restaurant serves a flavorful cuisine of Coastal South Seafood. With award-winning seafood and breathtaking ocean views, the Dolphin Reef restaurant is a great spot for your wedding reception.

Other Ideas

Crab Shack
A Tybee Island classic. A Must see and Must do while on the Island. The Crab Shack is a perfect place for a rehearsal dinner the night before your beach wedding.

Memorial and Jaycee Park
Memorial Park has a covered pavilion with seating for around 150 on picnic tables. Rental tables and chairs can be brought in. There are electrical power outlets, a tennis court, playground, and bathroom facilities all located in the same area. A great family fun location. This park can be reserved for a fee.

Jaycee Park
Jaycee Park is located at the intersections of Van Horne and Campbell Ave. The park has picnic tables but no overhead facilities. There is a ball park that can be reserved for organized activities and there are bathroom facilities in the park. There is a gazebo for your wedding ceremony surrounded by fresh water channels. There is a new playground on site. This park can be reserved for a fee.
