It is against the law to have open flame on any of Tybee Island’s beaches.
Our decorated Tikis add the fun and elegance of a tropical wedding.
Beach Permit ~ $30
Any time you wish set up anything for your wedding ceremony on the beach or if you want to “secure” your location, a Beach Permit must be obtained. This is an additional $30 per City of Tybee’s new beach permit policy dated 5/22/08. This $30 fee must be made in advance for us to get the permit for you.
A $150 Deposit is required to reserve our services for your date. See the Payment Gateway on our homepage.
Not every location on the beach is suitable for ceremony rentals. Tybee Island Wedding will let you know where we can set up. There may be additional fees for deliveries in challenging locations (stairs, lack of path, private locations etc.)
We are unable to provide ceremony rentals for sunrise wedding ceremonies. We can provide these set-ups three hours after sunrise.
We can also rent wedding accessories such as plants, dividers, benches, kneelers and columns.

Advanced reservations are encouraged and can be made by telephone, in person, or by fax.
Tybee Island Wedding - Rental Policy:
If for any reason you decide on your prescheduled event day that you do not need your rental items (chairs, archway, stage, etc.) it is our policy that rentals canceled the day of the event will be charged 100% of the quoted price, regardless of circumstances (act of nature, change in plans, etc.). Services canceled the day before will be charged 50% of the full quoted price.
Saturday or Sunday weddings:
*ALL RENTAL CANCELATIONS must be made by Thursday before the event, by the end of the work day (7 p.m. EST).
*ALL RENTAL CANCELATIONS made after Thursday, 7 p.m. EST but before Friday, 7 p.m., EST will accrue a 50% cancelation fee of the total cost. This does not include the $150 deposit, which is non-refundable, regardless of the reason why you are canceling our services.

*All rentals subject to availability. Please plan in advance.
All equipment must be protected and sheltered from the elements. Please remember responsibility for rentals remains with you while items are in your possession. After use, all china, glassware, silver, etc., should be rinsed food and beverage free then repackaged in the appropriate containers as delivered. Linens should not be laundered, however they must be stored and returned dry and food free to avoid mildew and other irreparable damage. Charges will be assessed to replace or repair damaged items due to negligence, misuse or if items are returned dirty. Tybee Island Wedding Inc. and its employees are not responsible for any harm caused to you or your guests by rentals or otherwise for any reason. The safety of you and your guests is your responsibility.
*** We are proponents of keeping our beaches CLEAN. Silk or plastic flower petals are LITTERING and we ask that you only use REAL flower petals.
New rule 7/19/08 ~ Tybee Island Wedding will charge $50/15 minutes of picking up silk flower petals, beer cans, bubble wands, ribbons, etc., on the beach after your wedding ceremony. PLEASE ~ Leave only your Footprints on Tybee Island.
