Your hosts, Stephen and Jennifer
A little about us:
Stephen and Jennifer have been coordinating and performing weddings on Tybee Island since 2005.
Together they understand every element of planning and organizing Beach Weddings!
Jennifer is a fourth generation Tybeean. She spent time on both coasts as a child as well as
living in California, Hawaii, Montana and Washington states. She was raised
in a family of artists and authors and could hold a paintbrush and take a phone message by the age of 3.
Jennifer takes that combination keen artistic
eye and organized self-starter and applies it to the unique logistics of coordinating beach
weddings in a little town in the sub-tropics.
Stephen originally hails from San Diego CA, where he spent most of his life
at the relaxed pace of the beach living lifestyle. Surfing, water skiing,
skateboarding and riding bicycles in the warm sun were just a way of life.
Always up for an adventure, he moved up the coast to Los Angeles were he
helped to create an independent film company. After a few years, he heard a
call from the north and moved up to San Francisco. It was in the bay area
that he became a dessert officianatto and he realized that all he wanted to
do in is life is make people happy. After one more move up the coast to
Seattle WA, he started to perform around town as a musician and a comedian.
After a few years of pleasing people through music and laughter
he decided to become an ordained minister and started marrying people.
Stephen and Jennifer are able to take their vast wealth of knowledge and
turn it to the wedding industry where they can do everything – perform a
wedding ceremony, schedule caterers, photographers, reception halls, find
the best cake, decorate with a keen eye, and making lovely beachy
decorations for the ceremony. They thoroughly enjoy working with all of the
local businesses of the town of Tybee Island to make your wedding experience
here the most wonderful and personal time it can be on your special day.
